This was my first experience with kanna and after reading reviews I thought I would give it a shot. It had absolutely no effect what so ever. Just a very expensive tea that didn't taste good. I don't think this reflects poorly on mood and mind it's just not for me. (Posted on 9/14/2015)

I ordered a ounce from a west coast vendor and it was tan/brownish colored /course grade. I never felt any effects from their product as I assumed it was old and probably stale. That was my very first experience with Kanna. I then ordered a 1/2 ounce from M&M just to be on the safe side and immediately i noticed a huge difference in appearance as their Kanna was more pungent in odor and the color has more of a greenish tan like color to it. The effects were like night and day. Euphoric, motivating and focus kind of effect. I noticed a loss of appetite as well which is good because i need to lose weight. I will order 1 oz next time. My shipment was completely brown, not greenish. However, the traditional preparation of kanna includes letting it ferment in sealed containers, then drying in the sun. The resulting product is definitely brown, not greenish. The effectiveness of the fermentation process is debatable, but personally I was satisfied with the product I received, whatever the color. I requested and received a sample of Kanna with my last order. Mood and Minds great about adding requested samples! Kanna Is great for a mood boost and works well with other products M&M offers.

This was my first time trying kanna, so I can't compare the product to that of other vendors, but I was impressed with this purchase. It picked me up, and the comedown was gentle. The kanna was very finely ground. It tasted a bit grassy, but not terrible. It did suppress appetite, and lifted mood. I will order again in larger amounts next time. (Posted on 10/16/2012)

I tried this for the first time last night, and what felt like immediately afterwards (really was about 15 minutes), I started to become really talkative, very focused, but very relaxed. Conversation flowed out of me, and having ADHD, sometimes that can be difficult. My only qualm was that the powder itself has a rather unpleasant consistency, taking it like Camel's Snus pouches of spitting tobacco wasn't a good idea. (Posted on 3/31/2012)
